AquaTilers Refurbishment of
Newcastle Under Lyme School Swimming Pool
Newcastle Under Lyme School has just completed major refurbishment and modification of its swimming pool.
The scope of work included extending a pool to 25 meters and re tiling it, re laying the floor surround and re tiling it together with adjacent changing room floors, and also tiling the walls of the large pool hall and many walls within the changing rooms.
Mr A Taylor has been employed on this project since January 2009 initially as a subcontractor for the period of the work associated with extending the pool but for most of the period of tiling work he acted as the main contractor
in his capacity as AquaTilers.
I have been most impressed with his professional approach to the project. His coordination of other contractors has been impressive and he has ensured that the workmanship of his company has been of the highest standard.
A very hard worker he has lead by example and has shown an innate ability to overcome problems as they arise.
During the period he was at pains to keep the client fully informed on progress and explain any changes that may be required to improve the original proposal.
I have no hesitation in recommending him and AquaTilers for similar work and would gladly provide a formal written reference on request. The quality of the finished product is a testament to his efforts and I am willing for the pool to be used as a reference site.
